Dental veneers are made from thin pieces of porcelain that are used to help recreate the natural look and appearance of teeth with the added benefit of strength that is comparable to tooth enamel. Premier Dental Arts can also make slight position alterations or changes to the tooth shape and color in this process with more control.
Porcelain laminate veneers include several thin ceramic layers which essentially replace the original tooth enamel. In this process, a very small amount of original tooth enamel must be removed to create room for the veneer to fit with accuracy and natural positioning. Oftentimes this process can create a better tooth alignment than your previous alignment.
Because veneers are individually crafted for each patient, it is close to impossible to tell the difference between veneer and original teeth. They can also help resist against food stains such as coffee, tea and wine.
